Map the buildings of Bhubaneswar | In-Progress |
Aim
- Odisha is a state on the eastern side of India. Cyclones and other natural disasters are common in Odisha. Natural disasters shake the economy of the state.
- Though under control to a large extent compared to previous decades, floods, cyclones, and sunstroke disaster management still have a long way to go for zero casualties and zero resource destruction.
- The Open Street Map can accelerate the restoration process during a natural disaster.
- We can mark the areas and people in need in detail and let the help reach the people fast.
- The best part is that volunteers and the trust of humans manage it. There is no central agency to approve/reject like a few other maps.
- Anything contributed to the map reflects instantaneously across the world.
- How will you help the needy if you need to know where they are?
- OSM also helps in data verification; nobody can not escape from satellite photos.
