Six types of evidences are there:

1. Perception (Pratakhya)
   1. What you perceive directly
2. Inference (Anumaan)
   1. Indirect perceive,
   2. I see the Roads are wet, so it might have rained.
3. Testimony/Authority (Shabda praman)
   1. Authority person telling
4. Comparison (Upmaan)
5. Implication (Arthapati)
   1. Contradicted
   2. Not studying but topping -> studying at night
6. Non-existence (Anupalabdhi)
   1. To know something is not there
