Lessons learned

  1. If you love someone, you must stand for it no matter how difficult the situation.
  2. Love requires constant effort. It is not a fire-and-forget missile.
  3. Communication is essential in a relationship. Many conflicts stem from misunderstandings or lack of open dialogue, highlighting the crucial role of effective communication in relationships.
  4. Even relationships on the brink of collapse can be salvaged with effort, understanding, and renewed commitment.
  5. Understand the background of your partner and have empathy.
  6. When young, create as many beautiful memories as possible. Later, when you become old, you can pluck one or two memories from your past and make the evening beautiful.
  7. As you grow old, your memories will fed away. Write down all the beautiful memories you have made together.
  8. Be the top 1% of what you are doing. Continuously improve yourself.
  9. Life is short. Whatever you plan to do, there will be no tomorrow, next weekend, next Christmas, or following summer holidays. Do it now.
  10. Build a robust support system with your friends or family. Have a set of souls with whom you can reach out when you face any fallbacks.
